Giving Tuesday: A Day for Giving Back

This November 28th, join the movement and give - whether it’s some of your time, a donation, gift or the power of your voice in your local community.

There are many ways you can donate your time to organizations in your community. Two organizations that are near to Nicolette's heart, and are right in our backyard, are Shot@Life and Cannonball Kids Cancer

Shot@Life educates, connects and empowers Americans to champion vaccines as one of the most cost-effective ways to save the lives of children in developing countries. A national call to action for this global cause, the campaign rallies the American public, members of Congress, and
civil society partners around the fact that together, we can save a child’s life every 20 seconds by expanding access to vaccines. By encouraging Americans to learn about, advocate for, and donate vaccines, the United Nations Foundation’s Shot@Life campaign will decrease vaccine-preventable childhood deaths and give children a shot at a healthy life.

The life-saving trials our children need are largely funded by individuals, people like you who donate or get their company to donate to foundations like Cannonball Kids' cancer. By supporting CKc, you are helping contribute to revolutionary research working to save the the lives of children fighting cancer today, childhood cancer survivors, and the generations of tomorrow.

It doesn't matter which organization you choose to donate your time or money to. The holiday season is the season of giving and today is just a reminder of that. To learn more about #GivingTuesday, go to their website to see all of the organizations participating in this special day.
